Summary of experience 

Katie brings 20 years of experience spanning some of the world’s most admired companies.  After completing her Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management at Michigan State University, she joined GE’s prestigious HR Leadership Development program where she held various HR leadership roles in the US and abroad in Scotland and Italy.  She returned to her native California leading People teams at global fortune 500 companies including Activision Blizzard, Apple, Adobe, and Pure Storage during periods of growth and evolution.  After leading excellence at scale, she became curious about earlier stage companies and joined Calendly during a period of rapid growth where she built first-ever HRBP, L&D, and People Ops, Tech, and Analytics teams. As a seasoned People Leader, she has leveraged her knowledge and experience partnering with clients on Leadership Development, Organization Development, Total Rewards, and the broad spectrum of HRBP advisory  in a consulting capacity.
